Future generations may not be able to buy cars that are part of their youth as the elderly do. Most of us can buy cars that we drove as teenagers, which are old classic muscle cars. There is a new bill that must approve the “clunkers” bill here is where the government will give discounts if you deliver cars that don’t get a great gas mileage.
If you trade a clunker for a new car that gets better gas mileage, you can benefit from that discount.
What they consider a clunker is a gas-guzzler which is a vehicle that gets less than 18 MPG. This would cover many vehicles for SUVs, trucks and muscle cars. This could cover many of the classic vehicles and vehicles that may have been considered classic in some off-road years permanently.
Cars are part of our history. Cars have always had a soft spot in many of our batteries and souls, what will happen to these vehicles they consider clunkers? In order for this bill to be passed, retailers would have to crush them and remove clunkers from the streets. This bill was designed to replace old car models that they hope for in 1984 or later with new low-consumption vehicles that will get better fuel mileage. This will clear the way for many reliable vehicles that are not only classic, but will be desirable in the future as vehicles sought after by car collectors.
